In this session we will be looking at our own basket of products and showing you the comparisons between valve size and its configurations

We will also take a deeper look inside a EV100 ¾”, 1½” and 2.5” Blain valve and inspect the main component parts and their functions.

The main section focuses on the servicing and trouble-shooting of our flagship product the “EV100”. Our trouble-shooting guide is an encyclopaedia of possible problems and best practices from more than 40 years of experience.  Not only would solutions to problems like “no up-start” and “my elevator sinks quickly...” would be clearly explained in detail, but solutions to problems that go beyond the scope of our products would be presented as hints and tips for effective trouble-shooting.

This session will give you a chance to ask our in-house technicians problems which haven´t been clearly answered.

Other topics discussed include useful tips and insider secrets on selecting the right options like up and down flow guides, pressure relief valves & pressure compensation guides.

Another useful subject for technicians and engineers. The importance of oil cleanliness tends to be the most neglected factor in a Hydraulic Elevator system, but should be given top priority. This webinar will show some simple techniques in keeping the oil clean and what can be done to keep your oil in a “tip-top” condition. In this webinar we will be looking through the microscope and showing you what exactly is in your oil tank, pump and valve.

Flooding of machine room and elevator systems as a result of natural calamity or manmade problems is not uncommon. While a natural calamity cannot be controlled nor influenced, the fallouts and after effects should be prevented as much as possible.

Starting the elevator system in the aftermath is not an easy task. Technicians are mostly confronted with logistical and technical problems troubleshooting under time pressure and lack of know-how often results in a running system which is somehow made to start but fails once again as critical components weren’t either inspected or serviced properly before starting operations.

The webinar helps technicians by detailing practical problems and offering solutions which would help prepare documentation of standard operating procedures in the event of flooding.

Webinar 7: How to keep a hydraulic elevator heat resilient (120 min)

One of the biggest technical challenge a hydraulic engineer faces is designing a heat resilient hydraulic elevator system. Such a challenge becomes even more difficult when the system has to work in an environment which has high ambient temperature, humid climate, poor ventilation and very high usage

This 2 hour webinar provides all the firefighting techniques and gives practical solutions to keep your system thermally stable.

Essential skills: know-how of hydraulics, mechanical engineering design and hydraulic elevator industry.

The aim of this webinar is to show the effects of heat within a Hydraulic Elevator system. It will show were the “hot-spots” exist in the system and highlight simple but effective methods in keeping component parts working within their respective tolerances.

It will also show the importance of good ventilation, the correct type of oil and ways to minimise heat dissipation.

Very useful for designers, engineers and service technicians who would like to deliver a system which has to perform in demanding conditions. How to perform heat load calculations, sizing oil coolers if necessary and above all how to maximise heat dissipation is practically explained.

This 2 hour webinar unfolds by presenting the hydraulic elevator industry worldwide. Interesting statistical information about hydraulic elevators from different countries, trends and market tendency is presented.

Hydraulic elevators have been around for too long, but participants would get to know how this technology is changing and keeping pace with energy efficient green technology like the vvvf. Rather than just believing that anything green is good, the webinar demonstrates how and why.

It also details when to adopt, why to change and how to go about modernisation which can offer distinct advantages. Interesting topics like savings and break even time would be explained and help on selecting the most appropriate solution suiting individual needs would be presented.

Answers to why life cycle analysis is the ultimate yard stick in deciding how green the technology is and how this aspect is being actively pursued by the industry to bring sustainable solutions to the market.
